Our story
Reviving the craft of Bay Area millwork
Revival Millworks makes architectural wood products for the Bay Area’s high-end building professionals. Founded in 2023 by Brad and Sara Erickson, we carry forward the moulding collection of White Brothers Mill, a Bay Area name for more than 150 years.

The White Brothers legacy
A hallmark of Bay Area quality, still in production
White Brothers began in San Francisco in 1868 as the Straut-White Company. Peter and Asa White bought out their partner in 1872, and a third brother, Jacob, soon joined them. When the 1906 earthquake and fire leveled much of the city, theirs was the only hardwood lumberyard left standing, and they helped rebuild San Francisco without raising their prices.
After four generations, the White Brothers mill in Oakland closed in 2024. We acquired all of its moulding profile knives, and we now run the full White Brothers Moulding Collection, alongside the San Francisco Victoriana profiles, from our shop in Livermore.
