Privacy policy

Revival Millworks ("we", "us") runs revivalmillworks.com. This policy covers information collected through the website. It is written to meet the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA).

What we collect

What you send us. When you request a quote, we receive what you type into the form: your name, company, phone number, email address, delivery address and project details, and any files you attach. When you open an account, we also receive your company's contact, accounting and billing details, your contractor license and seller's permit numbers, and any resale certificate you attach. When you send delivery details, we receive the order number, the onsite contact's name and phone number, the delivery address and any gate code or instructions. When you approve a proposal online, we receive your name, title, company, email address, purchase order number and signature, and we record the time, your internet address and your device as proof of your signature. When you email or call us, we receive what you send or tell us.

Technical information. Like every website, ours receives the address of the device you visit from and basic details about your browser. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, uses this information to deliver pages and to protect the site from attack and spam.

Analytics and advertising, only if you accept. When you first visit, a notice asks whether you accept cookies. Only if you click "Accept" do Google Analytics and Google Ads load. They then record which pages you visit, roughly where you are, your device and browser, and whether you reached us from one of our ads, and they set cookies to recognise your browser on later visits. If you click "Decline", or make no choice, none of this loads.

How we use it

We use what you send us to answer your request, prepare quotes, set up your account, apply the right sales tax, supply and deliver your order, and keep the business records the law requires. If you say we may text the onsite contact's number, we use it only for messages about that delivery. We use technical information to run the website and keep it secure. If you accept cookies, we use Google's reports to see which pages are useful and whether our advertising brings in quote requests.

We do not sell your personal information. We let Google collect information about your visit for advertising measurement only if you accept cookies.

Who else handles it

• Cloudflare hosts the website, runs the spam check on our forms, delivers what you send to our company email, and emails you a copy of the account and delivery forms and your signed approval certificate (and an approval code, if we ask you to confirm your email).
• Google Workspace holds our company email, where your requests arrive, and the spreadsheet where account and delivery forms and proposal approvals are recorded.
• Google Analytics and Google Ads, only if you accept cookies, measure visits to the site and the results of our ads. Google's own privacy policy applies to what it collects.

Each processes information to provide its service to us. We may also disclose information when the law requires it.

Cookies

Google Analytics and Google Ads cookies are set only after you click "Accept" on the cookie notice. To change your choice later, use Cookie settings at the bottom of any page. Your choice is remembered in your browser; clearing your browser's data asks you again. Cloudflare may also use strictly necessary security measures, which can include a security cookie, to tell people from automated traffic.

How long we keep it

We keep quote requests and order correspondence for as long as we need them to serve you and to meet our tax and legal record-keeping obligations.

Your California privacy rights

If you are a California resident, you have the right to:

• know what personal information we hold about you and how we use it;
• ask us to correct it or delete it;
• opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. We do not sell it, and Google receives information for advertising only if you accept cookies; declining the cookie notice, or changing your choice under Cookie settings, opts you out;
• exercise these rights without being treated differently for doing so.

Children

This website is meant for building professionals and homeowners. It is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Links to other websites

Our pages link to other websites, such as our social media pages and suppliers' sites. Their own privacy policies apply there.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will post the new version here with a new date.
